What is the home staging process?

Working with Viano Decor is seamless and straightforward. Begin by submitting an inquiry through our Contact Us form. After reviewing your details, we will provide an initial estimate. To secure a place on our calendar and schedule a walk-through, a deposit is required. Once the scope and investment are finalized, an agreement and invoice will be issued. From there, we’ll see you on Staging Day—where the transformation begins. 

Do you stage all types of properties?

Viano Decor specializes exclusively in vacant home staging for properties up to 5,000 square feet. Please contact us directly to confirm eligibility. 

Why choose professional home staging instead of doing it yourself?

Professional home staging is designed around how buyers experience a space, not how a home is lived in. Stagers use an objective eye, market insight, and properly scaled furniture to highlight layout, flow, and first impressions. The goal is to help the home photograph well, feel cohesive in person, and appeal to a broad range of buyers—especially in competitive Los Angeles and Orange County markets.

Do you offer occupied home staging or consultations?

At this time, Viano Decor focuses exclusively on vacant home staging and short-term rental furnishings. We do not offer occupied home staging or consultations. 

How long does staging take?

At this time, Viano Decor focuses exclusively on vacant home staging and short-term rental furnishings. We do not offer occupied home staging or consultations.

Do you accept payment at Close of Escrow?

All services require full payment prior to the staging date. We do not accept payment at Close of Escrow or offer payment plans. 

Is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable and secure your place on our calendar, design planning, and production resources. 

Are there any additional fees?

Yes. If the property is not fully ready on staging day—including professional cleaning completion or active renovations—our team will exit the property and a $500 rescheduling fee will apply. 

What areas do you service?

We service properties within a 30-mile radius of 5255 E. Washington Blvd, Commerce, CA 90040. Select locations up to 40 miles may be accommodated for an additional travel fee. Please inquire for confirmation. 

How long is the furniture rental period?

Our standard rental term is 60 days. After the initial period, monthly extensions begin at $2,250 per month or $75 per day. 

Do you need to preview the home to give us an estimate?
We do not preview properties to provide an estimate. After we gather some information from you, our team will be able to provide an estimate.
Can rental extensions be requested?

Yes. Rental extensions may be requested toward the end of the initial rental period and are subject to availability.

Is a property preview required to receive an estimate?

No. Once we receive sufficient property details, our team can prepare an estimate without an in-person preview. 

Do you preview the property after booking?

Not always. Depending on the project, we may conduct an in-person preview or rely on provided photos and/or video footage. 

What services do you offer beyond home staging?

We provide vacant home staging and short-term rental furnishings (including Airbnb and investment properties). We do not offer interior design or decorating services for occupied residences. 

Who typically buys staged furniture sets?

Our furniture sets are often purchased by homebuyers, real estate investors, flippers, short-term rental owners, and homeowners furnishing a new space. Buying a staged set allows clients to skip the guesswork and recreate a professionally designed look quickly.

Do clients have input on furniture selection?

Yes. Design preferences are welcome when shared at least two weeks prior to the staging date. While inventory is not reserved, we do our best to accommodate requests. Clients wishing to secure specific pieces from our portfolio may do so with immediate full payment. 

Can buyers purchase the staged furniture?

Yes. Furniture is available for purchase by area or full-home collection. Individual items are not sold separately. Buyers may contact us directly for pricing. 

Is there a minimum investment per project?

Yes. Our minimum project requirement begins with our Bronze Packet. Very minimal staging may be considered upon request and is subject to availability. 

My home is already furnished. Do you offer outdoor furniture only?

Very minimal staging may be available upon request and subject to availability. Please contact us to discuss options. 

I need staging for only 2–3 weeks. Do you offer shorter rental periods?

Shorter rental periods may be accommodated upon request. Pricing remains largely consistent, as it reflects logistics, installation, inventory allocation, and removal. 

Are utilities required to be 'on' at the property?

Yes. Electricity and water must be fully operational on staging and de-staging days to allow for safe and efficient installation. 

Does your team have access to a Supra?

No. A lockbox must be provided to grant access on staging and de-staging days. 

What if we need to reschedule our staging date?

We require 3–7 days’ notice for rescheduling. Due to our high monthly volume, availability for alternative dates cannot be guaranteed. 

Is your team hiring or accepting interns?

We are not currently hiring designers, decorators, or interns. However, resumes may be submitted to  staging@vianodecor.com for future consideration.
